Putting children first…

At the Centre for Separated Families, we believe that children fare best, after separation, when they have regular ongoing relationships with both parents that are flexible and responsive to children’s changing needs. That is why we support everyone who is affected by family separation and help parents who are separating or divorced to put their children first.

What we do:

• We provide advice and support to parents and others who are experiencing family separation
• We deliver a range of courses for parents to help them negotiate the changes that family separation brings
• We offer training and consultation to professionals who may be working with separated families
• We research issues around family separation and use our experience and expertise to help to inform policy and debate
